William has over 20 years of experience in the insurance, risk management and financial accounting industries. Prior to forming PE-RISK in January of 2018, William spent 9 years at Morgan Stanley as an Executive Director, where he was responsible for insurance and risk management for Morgan Stanley’s global private funds division. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley in 2009, William spent 13 years at Goldman Sachs & Co. in a variety of roles including real estate financial controller, merchant banking risk manager and reinsurance financial management. William began his career as an auditor at PWC.
William has a strong reputation in the insurance and risk management industry, and serves on the Client Advisory board of AIG, Chubb, FM Global, Swiss RE and Zurich Insurance.
William received his master’s degree in financial management from the University of Paris Dauphine and holds a French State Diploma in Finance and Accounting. He is fluent in French and Spanish.

Stephanie joined PE-RISK in January of 2018 and is focused providing tailored insurance and risk management solutions to clients investing in real assets and private equity. Most recently Stephanie was an Executive Director of Morgan Stanley, acting as an internal risk and insurance consultant to Morgan Stanley’s Private Funds division, responsible for evaluating, structuring and negotiating complex insurance programs for assets under management in North America, Europe and Asia Pacific.
Stephanie specializes in real estate, global infrastructure and supporting M&A transactions, and is recognized as an expert in insurance and risk diligence and transactional insurance placements. Prior to Morgan Stanley, Stephanie was the Director of Insurance and Risk Management for Veolia Environment’s energy operations in North America.
Stephanie is an active member of the Risk and Insurance Management Society, acting as a member of the RIMS External Affairs Committee from 2015-2017. She is also dedicated to supporting the next generation of risk management professionals and has been selected as a Risk Manager in Residence through the Spencer Foundation at St. Joe’s University, the University of Hartford and the University of Dayton.
Stephanie received a MBA from Boston University and a BA in finance from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.

LJ brings 12 years of experience in financial accounting and insurance risk management to his clients, specializing in using data and technology to tailor insurance and risk solutions that meet the client’s specific needs. Prior to joining PE-RISK in January of 2018, LJ was a Vice President of Morgan Stanley responsible for insurance and risk management for Morgan Stanley’s Private Funds division. LJ joined Morgan Stanley in 2007 in the Real Estate Fund Controller’s Group and the Fund Analytics group after starting his career as an auditor for PWC.
LJ received his bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Saint Joseph’s University and holds an Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designation.

Kenneth H. Martinez
Kenneth’s risk management experience includes data analytics at RMS and internal risk manager at JPMorgan Chase. At JPMorgan Chase, Kenneth was responsible for placing all-risk property, builders risk, commercial general liability and environmental coverage for properties wholly owned or managed by the JPMorgan Investment Management Inc. commingled real estate investment funds. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Kenneth worked as an insurance broker in Aon Puerto Rico, where he was responsible for account management of the firm’s relationships with large clients with complex risk profiles across a wide array of industries.
Kenneth holds an MBA in Risk Management & Insurance from St. John’s University, a BSBA in Finance from Loyola University as well as an Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designation. Kenneth is fluent in Spanish.
